    c5502 Faded Print/copy

    Hi Everyone,

    One of the c5502 device printing and copying faded image, if i print letter size half print is ok but half print is not visible. Replaced ITB unit but still the same.

    i checked on the ITB image create also half light, check itb lift motor from sp that is also working ok so dont know what wrong.

    Please advise if any one have this problem before.

    Have you cleaned the laser shield glasses?

    Is the machine level front to back?

    really need more info... what have you cleaned? replace itb ok.. what is the life on the other components? have you done a stop test? what do the image look like?

    very vague information given.

    Have you checked the PTR or transfer roller in duplex side. Close right door make pressure to the side where you see that the picture is faded if faded image is in front make pressure in front of duplex if it is in rear side make pressure in rear side of duplex and see effects. Have nice day.

    It was laser unit, replaced. working fine now.
