    seems to be a contaminated development unit. We have had one where the toner bottle was stored in a hot cabinet causing the toner to cake up in the bottle and once installed in the machine, it would supply the caked toner to the process unit creating deletions. Solution was to remove and service the entire sub hopper assembly until we got rid of all toner in the system, replace dev tank and toner at the same time. do check if the other PM parts are in order. Thanks.

    We don't want to take chance on this. Before replacing the development unit, we usually clean the toner transport assembly for lump toners and make sure everything is clean. A new genuine toner is highly recommended also after development unit replacement.
