    I'm incline to agreed with Lagonda....

    Looks similar to when a staple is stuck to the dev roller/doc blade, or worn bearing/metal shards short out the developer unit bias.

    Check the cables from the adf unit to the back cards. We met. The problem was solved when we changed these cables.

    check the corona bias...had a similar problem and in my case it was the charge bias
