MP 161SPF cannot add user password or path

I can reach Web Image Monitor and log in as administrator, then go to address book, address list, add use, click the radio button, enter the folder name and then below after entering the user name I try to click the change password button and nothing happens. I cannot enter a path either. It will not respond.

I tried going through the machine itself and I can enter the user name and password there, and when I log in I can now see them. But I still can't enter the path through WIN or the machine. Never had this happen before. It is a previously owned machine. Is there a setting that I am not seeing where you can deny permission for the administrator to enter in info? As I said, I can get somewhere through the machine, but not far enough.

I have nothing but trouble using Chrome, especially with WIM. My preferred browser is Firefox.

I like Chrome for my everyday stuff, but it was about Mid-December, when Chrome Ceased to work for me with the address book in the WIM, and it also won't save settings under the Email tab on some models I've run across.

As much as I hate to use it, Internet Exploder seems to be the only supported browser for these types of functions.

Not sure on how the new version "Edge" will respond, as I've not yet tried it.

Manufacturers need to get off the Java kick and start porting their stuff over to HTML5. Ricoh seems to be one of the worst for this, although they certainly aren't alone.

A million thanks to you guys. This is crazy, spent a lot of time trying settings, etc. Then posted the question and soon the answer came from several of you. Thanks again! (I think I hate Chrome now.)
