Guys, have you tried to setup any Ricoh printers to send email using Office 365? Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks!

Microsoft support document. I do not believe that the MP C2551 supports TLS/StartTLS so you will have to use Option 2 or Option 3.

With these old models I use a gmail account, works fine with no issue & can send email to any address.

MP C2551/MP C2051 were the first color models to support SSL over SMTP. It is however limited to 2000 messages a day. For older models, you had to use one of Google's non SSL options.

Here are settings I used....
1. SMTP SERVER:smtp.gmail.com
PORT:465
DNS: 8.8.4.4
Username:gmail account
Password: gmail account password
CONNECTION TEST: SUCCESSFUL
SCANNING TEST: FAIL
2. STMP SERVER:mail.messaging.microsoft.com
PORT:25
NO AUTHENTICATION
CONNECTION TEST:SUCCESSFUL
SCANNING TEST: FAIL
3.SMTP SERVER:smtp.office365.com
PORT:587
CONNECTION TEST:SUCCESSFUL
SCANNING TEST:FAIL
The client has called up the technical support from Office365 from United States but he did not solve the problem.

Requires that you first install a certificate on the MP C2551 to enable SSL. How do I setup SMTP over SSL on a Ricoh Family group device.pdf
That is not the correct SMTP server for relay. Usually has to be configured specific to your Office 365 domain. Should be similar to yourcontosodomain-com.mail.protection.outlook.com. Will need to be setup either by Microsoft or by the client's IT. Must specify to Microsoft that they need to create a relay server service.2. STMP SERVER:mail.messaging.microsoft.com

I have used the first option posted above without the need to install the SSL certificate, this maybe due to the firmware we have available in The UK.
Also I use a different DNS as below.
SMTP SERVER:smtp.gmail.com
PORT:465
DNS: 8.8.8.8
2nd: 8.8.8.4
Username:gmail account
Password: gmail account password
Admin Address: Any email works ok
CONNECTION TEST: SUCCESSFUL
SCANNING TEST: PASS

For Office 365, just setup Stunnel on a server or always on PC and use that as your SMTP server. You just need to setup Stunnel with the correct smtp server name and port for O365 (smtp.office365.com:587) and then is will route the email from the MFP to itself and then to the O365 servers. You'll need to make sure that the copier has valid credentials for the email address since those will be pushed along with the message. I had to do this for my own office with my MP171 and it worked right away.
The Diana range 2050/2550 does not support ssl/tsl (port 465/587) for smtp. But 2051/2551 with latest fw does it. Most popular freemail provider almost using ssl.
Best solution is to install a local mail server working on port 25. Emails can then be forwarded automatically from the local mail server to the desired e-mail address.

Will not work over web image monitor, it can be configured over the machine panel!
