mpc2500 PCU question

Hi,

I have one mpc2500 and i need to change one color PCU and the black PCU but i only have PCU D029 2251 and D0292256... According the part numbers is for mpc2800. Can i use it on mpc2500!?

I think they would work. Make sure the connector on the rear is filed to the same shape as the original. If is says the pcu is not set you may have to use the black pcu in the colour and the colour pcu on the black.

The D029-2256 drum will work for both colour and black drums, with some minor modifications. If you can get a B224-2042 drum instead; it is cheaper, but won't last as long. It also uses the same modifications to work.

I have in stock only those 2 for mpc2800. One colour and one black and is what i need... I read about modify the black PCU b224 to fit as colour but my questionar is if i can use the mpc2800 colour PCU on mpc2500 and the black PCU for mpc2800 on mpc2500 without make any changes

I'm sure you can use the black on the colour drum and the colour on the black with only having to adjust the rj45 style connector on the back so it fits in the connector at the rear of the machine. I'm pretty sure that should work
