    Okay, if you've done 5846-046, log into user tools with admin and no password, go system settings / admin tools / administrator authentication management and switch it all off. Then, go into SP modes and execute 5801-011, NCS clear. Then try again.
    It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    i did it again, it still wont let me change it at the panel, though i can do it in the web access

    Right, sounds like menu protect or something similar is enabled. Press the User Tools key, then hold # and press all the LCD buttons one by one. That will reset all User Tools to default.

    still not letting me change it at the panel,
    it does have a bunch of extended features installed, could it be in this? just asking, im not up on all the things extended features do, this one is jave platform 10.4.2
