Exclamation mpc3500 photoconductor units are not set correctly

    Hello,Good Day!

After copying 300 paper and I think there are a electrical shock
Check female socket and male pins .. Every thing in place.

Check the connector at front between the drum unit and the development unit.

Tell us What led to this situation? Did it happen after the pcu's were initially replaced, or did it just happen on it's own?

Replaced pcu "magenta only" then made 300 copy,
After that I smelled that there are smoke or shock
Checked pcu seems that it's very hot from the back 'socket' and message appeared

    Here was my situation:
    - Out of blue, got a call from customer said error from MP C3500 display "Photoconductor unit not set correctly". Went to client site, reseated all PCDUs, but problem still there. Power cycle machine, then problem gone and back to normal.
    - A week later, got a call from customer with the same issue. Went to customer site, it was resolved by customer with machine power cycle before we arrived.
    - Few days later, got a call again with same problem. This time, we just replaced all PCDUs from other working machine in the shop. Problem seem to be resolved for three months now.
    - Just noticed from the problem PCDUs, the color PCDU connectors were modified, rough edges, it seem to be modded from k unit, and those units were discard since we do not have any use for them.
    Hope this help.

That information should have been included in your first post.
