Make sure you are using Ricoh OEM drum # B039-9510. The generic drums I have tried when rebuilding MP 2000's, etc, do not work in this system.
already cleaned & checked.
it's all original parts, and I've tried already OEM/GENERIC but it's same problem that's why I've put again the ORIG. parts.
today, i'll try again what was other mentioned here that I did not do.

Always replace at same time drum, dev, cleaning blade, charge roller and cleaning roller.
Anything in the scanner will only affect copies or scans.
