Try ClearModes (the yellow button) 1,0,7, and hold Clear/Stop (the red one) until the screen changes.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.
1. Thanks Loganda for your reply .
2. TonerMunkeh......I'm the new technician for the copier services company and also the end user, helping my wife that running fotocopy services. just for gaining the knowledge.
3. How to clear error " Replace PCU unit". I do change new drum unit, but don't know how to clear the error.
Please help me.
Your cruel......
I know, I'll burn in hell. Just don't want to see a cust completely knacker their machine and then have to pay a fortune to get it repaired, better safe than sorry!
Oooh crap, just realised what you meant by cruel lol
Press the YELLOW key
Type in 1 0 7
Press and hold the RED key
When the machine beeps and says "copy SP" press 1
Then press 2, then #
Type in 801 then #
Press confirm / execute / something like that - might ask for a 1 to be put in
That will get rid of the "replace PCU" message.
Press exit until you come out of SP modes. Sorted!
DON'T DO ANYTHING ELSE!!!!!!

Would be a shame if he knackered his machine rather than pay someone that knows what they are doing.THAT WOULD BE A PITTY.
Can't do right for doing wrong.... hehe

A new PCU will automatically reset the message unless someone fiddled with the drum before intalling it. There is a drive tab on the back of the PCU which contacts a push button in the rear of the cavity. If the message did NOT reset on its own with a new PCU, then you may have reinstalled the old unit, or the unit you received may have not been new. Did you remove the red tapes from the front of the PCU, and the black paper from the drum surface? If you didn't have to do that, then the PCU was definitely NOT new. I always leave the tapes in until after the PCU is in the copier frame to avoid confusing the new and old.
