Ricoh MP 305+SPF toner empty issue

    Hi there!

I have for tomorow an onsite service order for a ricoh mp 305+spf. The order comes from a another service partner.
The customer complains low toner/toner empty on the machine. The machine is out of service because of the toner message.

The toner changed by customer two times with a new one without positiv effect. Has anyone a specific knowledge or a tip for this model mp305+spf?

The ricoh support db and tier2 does not provide any information.

    Thanks in advance.

Worn gear at pcu unit. Replace a pcu unit.

Re: Ricoh MP 305+SPF toner empty issue

Customer has called back after 3 weeks. The toner empty issue is back but with another cause. The toner bottle does not spin. With output check in sp to the toner bottle motor, the bottle does not move from the spot. Without installed bottle non of the gears does not move.

    I ordered DC MOTOR:TONE R SUPPLY:ASS'Y D2053346 and HOLDER:TONER SUPPLY:ASS'Y D2053310.

Does somebody still have another idea?

Mp305 is prolly based on the mp301. I'd try the pcu + toner hopper first.

Not really, it's different. But I've found the problem. It's the worm gear of toner supply that is broken. And exactly this gear is not part of the hole toner supply ass'y

Having the same issue with yellow on a mp c305. Says toner not detected. I'm lead to believe replacing D1175162 BRB corrects thisnissue? How are these toner hoppers different from the old toner pumps? Fairly reliable toner hoppers?

This is what I've gathered so far. I wonder if removing the board and manually rebending the pins would work?
