Unhappy Ricoh 9003 - "New Job" soft button?

Hello experts: Our older Ricoh models had a nice "new job" button used to queue more copy jobs while one is in progress. The new ones don't have it, mysteriously vanished. I have a suspicion this feature is hiding somewhere and it just needs to be enabled or set on the new screen.

The manual (Manuals - MP 6503/7503/9003 series - Operating Instructions) doesn't mention the feature, and this thread (MP 6001[New job] key is not available during copy job) is the closest I can come on the forum, but this model doesn't seem to have that Counter menu.

Suggestions? Or can anyone confirm this feature was definitively removed by Ricoh?

Have you tried using the "Classic Copy" screen?

Thank you for posting your response. I am able to confirm that your solution provided worked. Add Classic Applications to your home screen, afterwards you are able to choose which classic application (copy, print, scan, etc.). New Job appears when a copy job is running.

Can we all just take a moment to reflect on the badness of the new Ricoh screen apps. I find functions like "Quick Copy" and "Quick Scanner" Ironically slow and clunky to use.

I think Ricoh was trying to look more like some competitors and not a Ricoh.

Totally agree, at every install I delete the "quick" apps & move the classic ones to the first/middle home screen, customers are more familiar with the classic style.

This is exactly what we do also.
