Repeated prints
Hello.
I have a costumer that reported na issue with 2 diferente MFP´s.
Sometimes they send a job and after print several pages it stop and begin printing again.
I have firmware up to date and also driver up to date.
Last time they called I asked what tipe of file it happened and they tell me that it happened with a PDF fila. I am thinking if they have a problema with the PDF reader (???).
Any of you have any sugestion?

Re: Repeated prints
Maybe problem is just very big PDF files and they are taking a long time to spool and print. Perhaps you can add more memory or HDD if it doesn't have one?
Also try different driver, maybe use postscript if using pcl.

Re: Repeated prints
Is there a jam occurring when it stops? I have heard of machines restarting print jobs after a jam caused by defective cover switches on a bridge unit.

Re: Repeated prints
This is almost always due to Windows 10 auto installing/re-installing the device on the WSD port rather than tcp/ip, and it's most noticeable with PDF files. They can be BRUTALLY slow.
Can someone please explain the benefit of this port to me? All I've ever experienced is dreadful performance. Is there any benefit at all?
It took me a long time to figure it out, but I finally got smart, and disabled the WSD features via the WIM for all my installs going forward.
