Service manual does not give much information on J030 other than Paper Late Jam. It does not say late where. A late jam usually means that the lead edge did not get to a sensor in time. Based on the sequence of jam numbers with J028 Being Registration Timing Main Trays, J029 Registration LCT, J031 Being PTR and the jam only occurring when doing duplex, my guess is that the lead edge edge late to the registration sensor when coming from the duplex unit.
From Goose's Guide: Tech found drive belt for vertical transport (D1796764) for roller (D1796765) had ridden up unto edge of pulley causing timing error and J030.
