    MPC3003, ADF DF3090

    HI,

Still got problems with feeding originals on a DF3090.
Seems that the feed roller B7892114 has changed, its thicker than before, notices this at a new MPC2004ex
does anyone now of this modification?, and what's the new part number . . .?

    Thanks in advance

D6842114ROLLER:PAPER FEED BELT-DRIVE This is the part that sits on the drive shaft and drives the feed belt

B3872113ROLLER - PAPER FEED BELT This is the part that sits behind the pickup roller and has ribs at the edges.

Both out of the DF3090 parts manual. I don't think it's a modification, they just decided to use different parts in the doc feeder.

The part number you listed goes in the DF3040 and 3050, at least according to precision roller.

Actually, the diameter of the Paper Feed Drive belt roller IS bigger. It's a countermeasure for consistent J014/J016 ADF Jams.

    Tech Pub # D238/D239/D240/D241/D242 – 033

    Old Part # B7892114
    NEW Part # D6842114

...I fought with one throwing a J016 for a couple of WEEKS.

We had the same issue, tech found a piece of plastic under the roller and belt that he removed and we have had no callback since..
