Set key counter for mp 301

    Hi guys,

having problem we key counter. we have done many coin op with set key counter 1515/mp161/mp 171/mp 201 now we are trying to set up this one. we have done 5-113 and set to 11 then in user tools set external charge to copier and turn on. get out of it and copier show that it is in set key counter mode. We have connected to CN 140 check pins for 5vdc and ground also 24vdc and meter pulse. When we short hecon part the copier does go out of set key counter mode. Have volt meter and can see it change fron 5vdc to ovdc. Copier was use for office so circuit should been ok.

What does the service manual say to do to install a key counter?

I figure this out finally service mode 5-113-11 and then in user tools go to the key counter management and highlight copier. older copiers we used external management instead. Connector is for coin unit is CN140 pins 1&2 and 3&4 is debit line.
