Thumbs up Aficio 2051 (B+W) withfuser issues

Last few months getting SC552 and SC555 codes with blowing thermostats on Aficio 2051. First time had no thermostat and temporarily jumped it. Ordered thermostats and thermistors and the came in day before customer called with another SC555. Went there and changed 3 thermostats and both thermistors though not sure if latest versions as bought from online source( they were OEM ).

Several days ago another SC552 and had a a tech go there and he jumped blown fuse temporarily. Received call yesterday with loud noise and error SC547. Going today. Please advise. The Rollers looked pretty good but I must have missed something. Your help on this is greatly appreciated as a good customer. I have never seen an SC547 and the posts I have read on a couple of sites , including this one, are not conclusive. Please help. Frank Action Photocopy

    Hi there!
Itīs an older model, so i would change the heaterlamps. When they get elder, they become unreliable.
    Greetings...

If it is making a loud noise, you might be better off replacing the entire fusing unit.

Some people don't have English as there mother language. So let me translate this in good English:

"the middle thermistor wire was pinched under a plate in the fuser unit..."

Thanks Mark. I'll be more attentive in future. Also, the only noise I heard was from developer unit which was making a squealing noise at sometimes. All gears intact. Also there was a noise from flat area on pressure roller which I changed. Machine needs developer as very low and printing light.

its not your dev unit, its the toner hopper above it. These devices have a habbit of getting toner in the bushing and start making a loud squeaking noise

Hi. In my opinion you need to change the cleaning blade if you can.
