    MP C3503 repeats image

    Hello everyone.

MP C3503 with 206,000 copies and replaced the heat sleeve for being scratched.

The problem is that both the new sleeve and the previous one do not fix the toner well in the color copies, especially in solid areas, it repeats the image.
I want to adjust the melting temperature a bit. The SP tables in temperature settings are very wide.
You know that SP adjust for a normal type of paper ?
The manual says not to touch the pressure when coming factory adjusted, although I will try to touch them a bit.
Someone has had problems with this model with the fixing of toner.
    Thanks in advance

Is it offsetting black as well or only one or more of the colors? It could be the drum unit cleaning blade not being able to completely excess toner from the drum surface. At 206K prints the PM count for pages has not reached 270K but depending on average pages per job, the distance PM count might be exceeded.

The drums are fine, it only occurs to me that they may have excess toner.
The problem is clearly related to the fuser group, if a copy is made and then the fuser group is removed it looks like the toner has been stuck in the heat sleeve and that is what it then repeats in the next copy, although this is only in black. Where it is best appreciated is when there are solid masses.
I think I would solve it by raising temperature and pressure but I am not sure that SP touch to raise temperatures a bit, there are many related to it.
The paper used is normal white, 80 grs.
Attached copies where the problem is better appreciated.

The fusing temperatures for toner used with this model is very precise. It is very important to have the correct paper thickness set. Example, Plain 1 Full color center should be 118 where Plain 2 Full color center should be 123. Plain 1 is 60-74 gms, Plain 2 is 75-80 gms. If the customer is only using 80 gms paper, you could change all settings for plain1 in SP 1105 to match those for Plain2. Check the Operator Instruction Manual for paper thickness tables for other paper types. You may also have to move either up or down one thickness based on paper surface type, e.i. Bond, Letter Head, Semi-gloss, Glossy, Card Stock, etc.

Are you using genuine Ricoh toner?

Dont adjust the fuser temp, simply change the tray paper settings, seting to say 100gsm

Everything is original, also the toner.
I will first try to change the paper type settings as indicated.
    Thank you
