Current IH inverter error on power up
The output current from the IH inverter reaches when switching on the IHWendeeinheit
    not the prescribed value.
    • Power input terminal 1 and 2 not connected
    • Defective IH turning unit
    • Defective IH coil unit
    • Fuser unit defective
    1. Check current input terminals 1 and 2.
    2. Replace the IH reversing unit.
    3. Replace the IH coil unit.
    4. Replace the fuser unit.

Jumper the thermostat connector on the IH Inverter board. If the machine then works, the thermostat located on the IH coil is tripped. The last I heard, Ricoh does not sell just the thermostat. You have to replace the entire IH coil assembly.

If you need it up and running quickly, put some blu-tac on the stat and pull it off quickly. That will reset it so it's dome-shaped again, but it won't last long.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

That's a damn good idea, TM. Only have to pull the coil once at replacement.

I tried it once. Didn't work. I had to bypass the stat at the connector on the inverter while I waited for a new coil.

Do that around here and your be looking for a new job by the end of the day! Bodging or bypassing safety systems is a big no-no that will get you more then a smack on the wrist if something goes wrong.
