I cannot remember if the ADF on the C2550 uses a reflective sensor to detect the presence of an original. If it does and there is something setting on top that extends over that sensor, the ADF will think there is another original.

No recuerdo si el ADF en el C2550 usa un sensor reflectivo para detectar la presencia de un original. Si lo hace y hay algo en la parte superior que se extiende sobre ese sensor, el ADF pensará que hay otro original.

The C2550 DF uses a photo interrupt sensor and flag arm, at the rear, to detect the original.

The sensor could be faulty or dirty, a quick test is to turn on the panel sounds, and place an original in the DF, if it beeps, then the sensor is good.
