Misaligned booklet staples sr3150

Hello

i have been having an on going issue with a sr3150 booklet finisher attached to a mpc3003.

whenever they do a booklet a5 when it does the centre staples it will missfire and put on in the middle and then the other staple into the plastic guide. It does this intermittently have done firmware, swapped boards even swapped the whole finisher.

any ideas would be great.
