    DF3040 ARDF jams

    Hi folks
i am having a strange papper jam on this feedr. It can jam after 1 papper and then it can work 50 pappers and no jam
I have mounted new feedrollers and rubber band and retard roller, checked the sensors in service mode.
It always stops on the same place all the time. see photo
i have cleanded the rollers in papper path.
    I am out of ideas.

    any help ?
    Thanksjam.jpg

Is it only jamming on hole punched originals (as pictured)?

Very common problem. Machines in high dust environments need to be cleaned regularly.

Remember the black felts that sensors would look at? .. black sharpie was always part of Total Call Procedure..could not clean the things for crap, you just painted all the dust black.

old school analog machines - the felt would kinda melt'ish and no matter what you did, white specks would stay stuck in the felt.
The bigger minoltas's would puke ozone and the heat from those 2 halogen exposure lamps would make things worse, we had the same problem with analog ricoh and the 350/1030 series.
