    MPC3002 printing "devicecapabilities?devicestatus?"

I have a MPC3002 that constantly prints "devicecapabilities?devicestatus?" at the top of the sheet, continues to print until network cable is removed. Firmware is up to date and the PCL5 driver on the server has been deleted, redownloaded and reinstalled. Ideas?

You can try enabling user codes for printing but don’t create any codes. This will make any errant/corrupted print job to sort of self eliminate.

You can also try changing the IP address of the printer and making the corresponding change on the port at the server.

Looks like it could well be a Microsoft Windows problem / bug rather than a machine fault.
