    Original equipment manufacturer - Wikipedia

Generally OEM is as described by wikipedia.

In this industry they tend to use the term 'Genuine' toner rather than OEM to describe a official toner supplier.

Here is a example of a genuine Ricoh toner.

We had this issue with the sets of toners shipped from overseas, kept in a warehouse for a long time. Must be the temperature from our warehouse...BTW we're from the middle east

i agree with Phil B...I do not see Genuine anywhere on that box and have always considered OEM to be the real thing. Can aftermarket suppliers now print OEM on their boxes of toner? None of my "GENUINE" bonafied Ricoh toner boxes say Genuine anywhere on them. Come on...Really?

no to stamp GENUINE on the carton along with CANON would be a copyright infringement ...
