If Near End condition has been written written to the chip, change SP 3401 to 1. This will turn near detect off for all toners and allow the machine to operate. Once the cause of the problem is corrected and you have a new toner, you can change it back to 0.

Customer called and it seems the cyan toner has same issue of machine saying to add and that it is empty. I know it happens to be full. I need to get back to ready with cyan that is in machine until I can get developers to change etc. Frank

Thanks again Tim. I did what you suggested and gave SP 3401 value of 1. Machine went to Ready and worked and showed all toners with 81 to 100%.

When I went back to SP 3401 and changed back to 0 to see what would happen. Machine went back to saying cyan toner empty and to replace.

I again went into SP3401 and set value to 1 and again machine went to ready and shoed all toners with 81 to 100% which is what they are.

I told customer developers will need to be changed soon. Frank
