Merge applications if required. On older products applications needed to be merged to the Postscript card, on newer products it does not matter which direction merging is done.
Thank you for the help.I will order part.
A word of advice, it the card in the bottom slot is a JAVA card, you must stop the JAVA application in User Tools before removing it to merge the other 2 cards. If you don't, you risk having a toasted JAVA card and control board. Rather expensive mistake.
Out of interest why would a MAC user need to print to this old b/w machine!?

Some people just love MACS...........Swear by them..........I have lawyers who use them and
what graphix application would they even need...
Quite true!
There are a ton of possible reasons as to why PostScript is required, other then Macs being involved.
Not related, but here is a pet peeve of mine:
I see "Macintosh" abbreviated incorrectly as "MAC" on CTN almost daily.
A Macintosh (Apple) computer is referred to as a "Mac" (short for "Macintosh"). Only the "M" gets capitalized.
"MAC", on the other hand (all caps) is an acronym for "Media Access Control" (as in a "MAC address"), which is a networking term.
