Same as always: User Tools> Facsimile> Initial Settings> Parameters, Set Bit 0 of Switch 3 to '0'.
Alternatively add the quick key for 'Communication Result Report', then they can ask for a report with one touch or not. The automatic report is disabled when this quick key is displayed.
thanks
i was looking in the fax service mode...
i dont see too many fax customers anymore...........
On a lot of the newer machines you can log into the web image monitor as admin and change some of the Paremeter settings.
You can also print out a list of some of the parameter settings in user tools, fax features. admin, print parameter settings. I can never remember some of the basic ones the customer likes to have changed.
back in the day when faxes were important i sold a lot of the fast ricoh faxes,5600 and 3200 if i recall and
had all the settings figured out.and then i switched to panafaxes and "forgot everything"..and now i might see a fax or fax call once a year...
feel like the maytag repair guy....
I have LOTS of customers still using fax...but most are in the medical field. Emails can be hacked or intercepted, but it's hard to "Hack" into a fax!
...now, if I could just get these people to understand the difference between VOIP phone systems and standard twisted pair phone systems, I'd be much happier.
i am surprised that the medical field would not be more up to date.
I have old school lawyers and some city hall places but that is it.
my 2 rescue dogs came from Tenn. by way of north shore animal rescue.
