    mpc3004 banner prinitng

We have tried to setup banner printing on the mpc3004 andcan’t seem to get the paper size set to the max length of 1200mm.
The question is do you need to turn on an sp to get it to do this or setsomething up in user tools I have checked the bulletin about
setting the meter click but it doesn’t tell you how to set the job up or am I beingstupid and missing an easy setting.

No settings should need to be changed. It does help having the additional banner tray option; but this is only for keeping the paper in the bypass tray, without having someone standing over it watching.

You will need to specify the bypass tray as the input tray, and use the Custom Paper Size option, under Detailed Settings > Basic.

Banner printing on the 03 series machines required using the printer only version of the machine because the MFP version did not have the length size in the MFP driver.
That said, if you can't see the length size needed in the MFP driver, download the printer only driver and call it something like Banner Driver.

    Good luck

I guess you did not read what ridgemill posted, or at least not the attachments. A banner is not a fixed size of paper. You have to program a custom paper size. If you are going to use the same size frequently, create a "one click preset."
