    Smart panel app

I have reset smart panel on MPC4504 for some reasons. Now all apps like smart copy, smart scan and apps store are gone. I tried to resinstall them but the machine is showing error message "insert correct SD card".
Here is the procedure I have followed.
    1. Downloaded apps from firmware page on My-ricoh.
    2. Extracted the downloaded file.
    3. Copied extracted zip files to App folder on SD card.

Found this in the SOP service manual-Good luck

    Installing/Updating an Application
Creating an SD card for update
    1. Download the update modules from the Firmware Download Center.
    2. Unzip the downloaded file.
    3. Create a folder named “romdata” in the root directory of the SD card.
    4. Put the unzipped file in the “romdata” folder.
    Update procedure
    1. Log in to the control panel in service mode.
    2. Insert the SD card into the SD card slot of the control panel.
    3. Select [Apps] > [Install] > [Install from SD Card].
    4. Select the application you want to install or update, and then press [Install]
    5. The installation or update results are displayed.
    6. Check that the application is correctly installed or updated, and then press [reboot
    operation panel].

Also make sure the panel startup mode is set to NORMAL and not QUICK.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

    Re: Smart panel app

For what it is worth, I was able to get my hands on the apk for Quick Copy and Quick Scan.
I did not have to load via SD card, I simply uploaded via extended features in the web interface.
Pointed to the zips which each contained the apk and dalp file.

    All good after that.

The reason I needed to do this is that the smart panel was malfunctioning(blinking every few seconds, could not select any functions).

I had to do an android factory reset on the panel and although all was looking good at this point, the quick scan and quick copy apps were no longer on the panel.

Why bother? the quick apps are hopeless.
