Ricoh Pro 8110s - Self Checking

    Hi all,

I've got a customer with two of these, they are both constantly going into self checking (process control) mode. Every 10 copies or so.

    PM's are up to date.

Is there a setting in SP mode to reduce this to maybe power on and every 1k copies?

Thanks and have a great weekend

Is that at the end of every 10 copy sets or every 10 sheets?
Check every SP 2210 and SP 2506.

Nothing in special service mode, is factory different? If so how do I access on this (I only know the old 143).

Can you PM me if possible?

    Many thanks.

try to clean pcu and dev unit contacts and re insert properly, test dev unit to other working machine for isolation.
fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.

Since it, like SP 5204 and a couple of other SP mode, has apparently been moved to Factory SP Mode it is no longer shown in the Service Manual. For a description you can use the Pro 1107EX manual.

Check every SP 2210 and SP 2506.

    the advice is

SP 2210 ID Sensor Pattern Interval which is most likely SP 3-301-081, 3-301-082, 3-301-111, 3-301-161
SP 2506 Cleaning Interval-Multiple Copy which most likely SP 2-226-002 and some under SP 2-225-***
fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.
