Hi, Has anybody still using yahoo for ricoh scan to email recently?

Bec i have tried to setup and it's not working. I try to set the smtp.mail.yahoo.com and try the connection test and it's not successful. Is there any certificate for yahoo to import into the machine?

Please assist.

Yes, and why do you NOT THINK that the model number is important to mention in your post?
Because you're most likely trying to connect an older machine that doesn't support encryption.
And also....why would you think that you're the first person to ever have difficulty setting up scan to email?

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server

• Server - smtp.mail.yahoo.com
• Port - 465 or 587
• Requires SSL - Yes
• Requires TLS - Yes (if available)
• Requires authentication - Yes

Your login info

• Email address - Your full email address (name@domain.com.)
• Password - Your account's password.
• Requires authentication - Yes

Attached is a Ricoh Knowledgebase document on installing a certificate for SMTP over SSL. Before downloading a certificate, check to see of it has expired.

Tested using afmpc2050.
but not working when i set smtp.mail.yahoo.com with port 465 or 587 as I test the connection it failed. but if i use IP 98.136.96.80. connections is successful. However, tested the scanning but still failed.

Check the DNS setting. Try setting one of the DNS servers to the Google public DNS 8.8.8.8

by the way: firefox version 60.0 I have check the cert that there's no google internet authority in the equifax list..

As I told you last week, you're not the first with this issue.
I wasn't even the first person 5 or 6 years ago when I faced this problem for the first time!
There are dozens of threads that provide you with non-encrypted workarounds. Look around!

You now have the name of the certificate to use. Do you lack the capability to search for it, or are you just to lazy to do so?

Mpc2050 2550 series doesn't have SSL you can use mpc2051 and newer machine must have ssl

If you read the the list of applicable models at the end of the knowledge base document that I attached to my first post in this thread you will see that the MP C2050/2550 are models that document applies to.
