MPC306ZSP - SC442-00 error

SC501 is a problem (unspecified) with paper tray 1. Common cause is something interfering with the paper lift.

Yes thanks, both errors are intermittent, sometimes I can’t hear the tray lift then I get SC501 others times I can hear the tray lift & get SC442 (quiet office)

All FW is current.

From the manual the ITB contact sensor & motor this code relates to is in the back of the machine behind main drive? The only sensors around the PTR are for paper feed?

Have you found in the meantime the cause of sc442?

I have removed this machine back to my office & installed a new machine for my customer.

However been using the faulty machine every day the error(s) have not returned so no idea!
