MPC306ZSP - SC442-00 error

Hi all,

i'm facing this error, will not clear.

ITB looks fine nothing broken from what I can see, however I have ordered a new one.

i'd also like to order the ITB HP contact motor & sensor but can not find this listed in the parts manual, it looks like it is located behind the main drive (from service manual) could anyone help me locate it in the parts manual please!?

Don't order or change the contact motor first! Have a look to the sensor where is placed arround transferroller section side cover. Have a sensor check with the sp INPUT CHECK.

Which sensor are you referring to exactly?
Machine started working for a few days now the error has returned & wont clear, no parts replaced yet!
Machine also threw SC501 a couple of times too.

When you start the machine with power on, then you will hear one time shortly the itb contact motor. That's fine. But if you hear at power an a continuously run of the itb contact motor up to the sc code, then the machine could have a sensor problem from the ptr unit. It's placed side cover arround paper transferroller. There was also an rtb. I will search for it. And I would install the latest firmware.
And Check if the side cover is correct closed and no damage is visible.

I remember there where some issues with the ITB on mpc3002... Timing disk faillure i guess...
I don't know if there is any on this model...
But it might perhaps help

Intermittend SC452 allmost overnight

Sensor below the Transferroller is not OK
Second possibility: the Door close mechanism is not really close
------------------------------------------------------
[Action]
Change the sensor or change the Hook's for the Close - Door mechanism
Do not change the Transfer Position Motor how it is written in Service Manual.
This takes minimum 2h with no solution

I’m wondering if these two errors relate to the same motor.

As i see there are different motors. How is the location, interferences over the power line or radio waves possible?

SC501 is a problem (unspecified) with paper tray 1. Common cause is something interfering with the paper lift.
