yes, this was treatend, not so long ago.
Use base plate and connector from mpcxx02 on a spc830
Don't use them in the MPC3002 and MPC3502 it will give you errors and not last long
Only use in the MPC4502 and MPC5502
hmmm.
why would it work better in the faster series?
would almost seem the 30 and 35 cpm machines would
be a better fit..
I have yet to get any c830 for parting out so i cant say

It works for a few weeks but it will throw an SC542-002 code eventually.
You can fit a new fuse to the unit but that will only work for a few weeks and pop up the code again and the only work around is to fit a genuine fuser AFTER using the SC5810-002 to pop the fuse...again.
I have fitted a spc830 F.U. in a mpc3002 4 months ago and have not heard client complaining.

I dont get how it would work on the 45/55 cpm and not the slower 30/35s?
