It states in the PSG or Service Manual that if you don't adjust the springs for the lube bar, then the PCU's expected yield will be 1/10th of what's stated. In the 3003 3503 models, the manual will tell you NOT to adjust the springs, we ignore this and do it anyway, it says that "this procedure is only for the 55 and 60 models. Have not had any problems with noise or anything like that, just longer lasting drums! Usually past the 270k stated.
