    MP305

    Hi,

The procedure for entering the SP mode for the MP305 is the same as for example the MPC3003, isn't it?

    Thanks in advance

The MP 305SPF (Smart OP) is 806182 entered from one of the Classic Screens or the On-Screen Service Mode Keypad (rec'd to use the Keypad).
The MP C305 (Normal OP) is 107 entered from any of the operation screens.

If it won't let you in to the selection screen likely something is being fat-fingered (or possibly SP Lock? Never seen it used). If you can't get past the Selection screen, something may be hanging at boot or other system issues.

I read once that there was a method to change the access code through a SP. If you know how to get into Factory SP, you can do everything there that is in normal SP mode and a few that are no longer in normal SP mode. Just don't try changing anything you do not recognize as you could end up with an expensive boat anchor.

In case it's needed, the SP for that is SP 5-081-001 "[ServiceSP Entry Code Setting] DFU".
