Nine years ago Ricoh was having a problem on some new or nearly new machine machine. There basically 2 models of the the the touch panels. If you have a psrts maching with the same size panel try replacing.
Ricoh has identified a breakdown in the adhesive which establishes the electrical conductivity
between the Touch Panel and the LCD. The initial projected failure rate is low, however the
failure rate increases as the machine ages and is affected by certain environmental conditions.
This failure may be intermittent or continuous and may be exhibited by the following symptoms:
1. The Touch Panel does not respond.
2. The Touch Panel does not hold calibration / adjustment.
3. Fax or Scan to Email may be sent to the incorrect destination.
can i use touch panel from af 2045 in this machine.
No! different touchscreen. As a swap use MP3035 or 3045. or try the mp3500/4500 panel

I replaced touch panel with one from 2045 and it works perfect!
