    Ricoh MP 6002 SC 623

    Hi,a repeating SC 623 error code,manual suggests pf board/bici.
    Machine will randomly throw code ,even when idle.Tried a new pf board, FU105 on power supply,
    Checked tandam tray for shorts etc-anybody else seen this before I throw big dollar on a bici-cheers

    you could have line power problems... check wall voltage

    Check for other appliances / equipment on the same circuit, especially anything that draws a lot of current and cycles on/off periodically just as the fuser in a copier does. Likely culprits are refridgerators or electric space heaters. If this doesn't pan out you should put a monitor on the line to isolate power spikes and drops.

    BICI seemed to have fixed it,fitted monday,checked today all ok,cheers everyone

    Customer is 2 hrs away. They call at least once a month.
    SC623, but by the time i get to client the code is then SC543

    I clean the cruddy thermistors and reset code. all returns to normal.

    The only thing the user does is re power the unit. Works sometimes.
