    SC 682-131,sc682-211 and sc 620-01 on a ricoh mpc2800

    ok
I just returned from a mpc2800 that would have sc682-131 show up at odd times.
Before heading out I pulled a used mpc2800 drum.dev unit"i thought it was black" but i marked
it wrong and it was magenta unit when unwrapped it at this account...
I pulled all drums and ITB unit and cleaned and wiped etc etc.
ANd on power on i got a sc620-01 and repower sc682-211 and then sc682-131.
BEFORE i start swapping boards out and will return with a black drum.dev unit.
    Anything else???
    thanks

    Hi there!
The 620-001 code is a problem with the ARDF, the other is a pcdu-problem. The reason for both can be a defective BICU. But the 2800 is an older model it can be a worn-out cable at the ARDF.
Install correct pcdu & unplug the ARDF. If you have a BICU i would carry it to the customer too.
    Greetings...

interior connectors etc. and all is well..
Might be time to upgrade next big call

the connector of a color pcu is different from a black pcu.
You are lucky you did not brake the connector receiver:
replacing this is not easy and very much time needed!

I never tried to install the color unit in where the black pcu goes.
i know the difference, and saw it before anything happened.
