Scanning to folder ok on PC, but not on laptop. Both Win 10

    Hoi,
Gateway, DNS, username and password, folder path,... all are ok.
    Firmware is 10 months old.
Folder is shared by "everyone" with both "read and write"...
Printer driver is PCL6, port is a 192.168. (no universal).

Scan to PC ok, scan to lap top: no good.

You can check under windows event logs the error message for smb communication. And there are different versions of windows home/pro and the variation of logon. Is the user which is login to windows a local or online account? Check the place of the shared folder. Sometimes a shared folder under root c: doesn't work. Prefer a folder under users folders like desktop or documents. Sometimes it is recommended to use the user login name with the local hostname of the pc/notebook.

Check the IP address of the laptop.
I’ve seen laptops on WiFi in a completely different ip range than the wired desktops.

Agreed.... you also want to verify that the Wi-Fi network is not defaulted to "Public"!!

File and Printer sharing is disabled by default on Public networks... Convert it to a "Home" or "Work" network, and see if that changes anything.

I've checked it with my own laptop, both wired and wifi, it is working fine with scan to folder (at the office).
At customer site we have made another account (scan) with another password (scan), no good.
When we test the root-path connection on the 2050 it says "no conection"
