    MP3054

    Hi,

when you change the PCDU unit on this one, it adjust the developer and ID sensor itself ?
Because changed at two machines the complete PCDU, now both customers complained about light images, copy as well prints.
Is there an SP mode to adjust?

No much experience on this one

    Thanks in advance . . .

I always rebuild these units, much cheaper to replace OPC, Blade, Charge roller, charge cleaning roller & developer.

As per service manual reset couters & init developer.

Make sure that the bung was removed from the dev opening on the PCDU....very easy to miss.
The copies will start out fine then go light due to no toner being added to the dev.

Agreed, done it myself! Also, definitely make sure that you have either done SP3701 OR go into the PM counter menu at the main service mode screen, and change new unit to yes (some you just press the button) then it will tell you to restart and automatically perform the necessary adjustments.
