    RICOH MPC 6OOO FUSER:

My Ricoh MPC 6000 showing code SC540.
Fuser unit is jamming. Opened up D2 cover, Turning blue D1 knob is stiff and bumpy.
Top fuser pressure roller to the left of the fuser heat roller almost looks like that roller has a belt on it.
Any films on inspecting/changing out fuser rollers?
    Thank you,
    Dana Lewis

    video:

I could have swore the video title said "fuser replacement."
I didn't see the fuser being replaced....

You don't need that fuser thingy, rip out the fuser and throw it away.
The machine still works fine (as a boat anchor, just add concrete to the void).

I do like the guys ingenuity of using YouTube as a means to give other Techs the require info. Ten/ten...

Quite a bit of difference between a MP 6000 and MP C6000 Fuser Unit - I don't think that video would be helpful. If you don't have the manual DO NOT even attempt to tear the C6000 Fuser apart!

Not only is this video for a B/W as Gary Bowen points out, I have never had to remove the entire fusing/exit drawer in order to replace the fusing.

for the sc540 try to reset error code procedure, for the blue knob that turns irregularly trying to control the big gear behind the fuser roller, maybe he is about to break in two ... he .... he ...
turn the blu knob with the fuser out, and check the green gear turn to search for any cracks

Sc540 is a fuser exit motor error.
Check for a bind ie. seized bearing .broken bear .bad roller

I got confused about sc540! at this moment I do not have access to the manuals (I'm at home), it is true overload fuser motor or bad cleaning web motor,i dont remember well, said he sees inside like a belt (?), may have rolled out the cleaning web and rolled / tangled on the fuser roller/pressure locked(?) ...
