Ricoh MP301SPF: Using duplex as default setting in scan

Hey, is it possible to set duplex as default setting in scan? When a customer want so scan everything with duplex it's annoying for him to change this setting every time.

    Regards.

Yes, use the program features key. It's a diamond with an arrow pointing out of it. Make your settings, then press that key, then program as defaults.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Wow, nice! Thank you! I see that I can create programs with this button. Can I also create a scan program with a predefined target from the address book?

That one I'm not too sure on. I think there's an setting in scanner SP that's called something like "user info release". If that's disabled it doesn't reset the scan destination, but I don't know if it will work the way you need it to.

    No. :/

This setting just doesn't clear the destinations after the scan.

If you always use one destination, then you can save it to the home screen as its own button.

See: Adding Icons to the [Home] Screen Using the User Tools

Instructions above mention using Copier Program, you will need to use Scanner Program instead.

Setup the scan as normal then use the program button to save it as a preset.

This doesn't work for me. It only saves the scan settings.
