    DF3010 (mp4000, mpc3500)

After it works fine, suddenly multifeed (about 15 pages at once), even with single face scanning.
Replaced reverse roller unit (with torque), no good.
I haven't seen this one before, anyone?

One of the gears that drives the reverse roller can crack, seen that before. Also the one way bearing under the feed belt can get a little sticky.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

You're not clear here. Did you or did you not replace the torque converter?

    Hoi Slim:
Yes i did replace the torque limiter.
In fact i took the reverse unit (reverse roller and torque) from another good working DF and it was no good.
    So, tonermunkhey is probably wright.
(It seems like a very lot of work to replace those one ways gears... )

This is always the culprit, in my experience. The part number for the gear/shaft is B8022231.
