    pro8100 sc471-04

Anyone had ongoing problems with this cod we have changed the belt and the centre hp sesor and position sensor and the bias roller and still the cod came back after a day.
the belt seems to move forward but we cant see why we have grease the plate in the an RTB but this didn't help.

    many thanks in advance

    Hi Slot

Did you ever manage to solve this problem?
I've been struggling for 2 days now and tried numerous bulletins but no luck so far.

    Thanks

    Re: pro8100 sc471-04

Extracted from the US version of the bulletin:
    CAUSE:
Machine deformation may cause uncontrollable ITB steering, since the ITB is always moving slightly from
front to rear rocking back and forth, and may not be to move back into a controllable range when it moves
out of control range because of the machine deformed.
SC 471-0X may occur if there is a gap between the Leveling Shoe and the Leveling Bolt, even though the
machine is leveled within the reference value (+/- 5mm per 1,000mm).
    SOLUTION:
    Procedure to check:
Make sure the following, after completion of leveling of the entire system (Refer to “Height and Level
Adjustment” of Common Adjustments in the Service Manual).
    1. Check each of the Leveling Shoes [A] by hand for stability and if it can be moved.
    2. Adjust the Leveling Bolt [B] to ensure it stops flush against the Leveling Shoe [A] completely without an
air gap. If an air gap exists the Leveling Shoe may move.

Have you replaced D1796078 - Roller Opposed? This can caused belt drag when it's life over due.
fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.

I followed the bulletin that explained the leveling of the machine, but that did not solve the problem.
Also, I replaced the ITB belt along with the opposed roller and since then, I've been stuck with the SC 471-04

I contacted a product specialist and they suggested I adjust the Roller that does the belt correction(the one that has a plate with adjustment lines on the side).
That made a difference, however the code still comes back after a while.
