wide format color mpcw2201 mochac2

hi all

I have a problem with the mpcw2201 wide format color A0 device. The problem is that every day when I do a print job there is no black ink and there is a clog in the black head after I do the maintenance from user tools ( cleaning and flushing ) for black head The machine works normally and prints black after turning off the machine and running it the next day. Prints black is not working so im doing (cleaning and flushing ) every day again and again and again every day to works fine ... if any one know what the problem exactly and what should i do ?

If the print head is blocking that often I'd replace the maintenance unit. If that doesn't sort it, replace the black heads. Are you using Ricoh ink?

Do you have the machine to do automatic cleaning and purging at power on?

There was a bulletin issued for this problem in Decenber 2017. It concerned the K2 cap not sealing and causing it to dry out within 24 hours. The fix was to replace the maintenance unit (new units have a modified filler nozzle).

thanks for your responding : i don t know ...is there any way (sp mode ) or any think else can doing to make device automatic cleaning and purging ?

This all day. I had a brand new unit that had this exact issue. I swapped the Maintenance unit and all has been well since.

Same with me had two machines with this problem and maint. kit fixed it.

On a cw2200, you can adjust sp2521-003 to 2, and set 2513-001 to 3. Refer to tech bulletin D124-007R. This adjusts the cleaning cycle and the amount of time between cleanings.
