    Ricoh mp c5503

    getting this image on copier. the pct was changed ran fine for a while, not streak in the same spot? could be fuser?

    Depending on the number of pages on the machine, the first thing I would check would be the transfer belt cleaning blade. (D2416141)

    They're rated for around 300K, so check your counters.

    It shouldn't be the black PCU...those are rated for 400K. Same with the fuser rollers/sleeve. In order to eliminate the fuser, pull it and inspect it. If there are lines on the roller/sleeve that correspond with the marks on the pages, then you might have an early failure.

    Same with the BK Drum unit....pull and inspect for corresponding marks.

    yes sir, i looked at them and all looked good. my waste catch is full and needs changed. I'm waiting on new one. i wonder if its overflow?

    thats what I'm thinking, it only has 20k on it. we just changed it. i wonder if defective one

    I'm with you, looks like it could be the ITB cleaning unit causing the problem.

    any suggestions on where to buy a transfer unit or anyone that rebuilds them?
