Hi,
I am wondering if I could setup scan to ftp ricoh machine without having to install a file zilla server? I am wondering if it works like if I allow a certain port to be open and allow the ricoh machine to scan through.
thanks

You can use built in FTP .....
FTP Win10
I would recommend using....
Quick 'n Easy FTP Lite
Re. FTP to local NAS.
This NAS FTP can be set up the same with a Dynamic DNS. A normal home/small office router NAS can be programmed to forward its IP to an internet domain name server(dynDNS) over a set programmed period. This will allow you to find the home/Office NAS via IP-address over the internet.
I'm not fussed about having a running home FTP system open over the internet, but its' quite okay to do it this way. Each to their own....
