Hi Guys,
I have a MPC6004ex with Papercut doing exact same thing with scan to email via the device address book. Has there been any firmware updates or feed back from Ricoh or Papercut?

Know this is old post but still relevant. Had this same issue on Ricoh IM C2000 with PaperCut few days ago.
To enter address book destination its enough to temporarily disable User authentication. Set Device Management > Configuration > User AuthenticationManagement > Custom Authentication to Off.
After making changes in address book turn User Authentication back on and check scanner archive settings. Navigate to Device Management > Configuration > Scanner > General Settings.
In Print & Delete Scanner Records, make sure "Do not Print: Delete Oldest" is selected.
Hope this helps.
If you go to the address book using the web image monitor, click on a user, go to the Protection section, click on the Change button next to Access Privilege, under Public, tick the box Full Control. The user will then show on the scanning screen.
