THIN lite "pink' lines only on color prints

    Hi
    I have a low meter MPC 3002 "20K,20K COLOR counts"that i place a month ago.
    I did a full service before placing,cleaned all,CKED drums,ITB,fuser etc,optics,FW update,Full calibration,etc etc.
Customer called complaining about lite pink lines.
I cked all drums,ITB cl unit etc etc and all looks perfect.
DOING single color copies no lines and doing service mode printer test sheet no lines can be seen.
enclosed is a 11 by 17 printout wth 3 pink lines..
    any advice appreciated..
I was thinking over riding the nvram with another mpc3002 that i store on my laptop if its a software issue.

It's voids in yellow. If you use ColorPic you can see that pink line that passes through your critter's chin turns from magenta to cyan so both those colors are present. And that the yellow density above and below the line is 60%, and in the line is 53%. I'll attach a screen shot in a moment.

If you print off the 11% ANSI A Color test sheet you'll see voids in yellow. You might have a dirty laser slit glass, or an area of poor fill on the mag roller, or a dirty corona unit (if your Ricoh uses coronas), or a worn drum (in that order of likelihood).

Ok, that worked poorly. I'll attach the original png files. Import to your PC, then view full size.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I agree with cat that it is a void not a line. If you use Printer SP 1103-002 Color Pattern, you should be able to see them. Clean the laser shield glasses and repeat Color Pattern.

Usually the dirt from the shield glass is from the inside. So cleaning it with the stick that comes with the machine will not do the job. We ask our refurb team to open the laser unit and do the cleaning of the glass with recommended cleaning materials/cloth.
    Aye! Cut the crap

    THANKS
I did do a color test pattern in printer sp 1 103-2 and it seemed good and then took that printed pattern and blew it up to a 11by 17
opy and did not see any voids. The same doing single color"CYM" copies of a config page.
At 1st i thought maybe some "snot' on the charge roller but spotless.
If i have to pull laser unit what are you using to clean slit glass? alcohol.or windex?

I'd try glass cleaner first. If you have something harder to cut, try an orange oil based cleaner, then final rinse with alcohol. Also look inside the laser unit. It can get dusty in there. =^..^=

Do the lines enlarge or reduce in size?
If so, the lines are cause by dirt in the optics.

try a some times to rotate with the fingers the gear of the development unit of the color concerned at contrary rotation (if you do it with all the unit it is good for him), a few turn in one directione and few turns in other in opposite , maybe some dirt has formed between the doctor blade and the magnetic roller, try, many times it solves

First Make sure your laser slit glasses are clean. Go into single color mode and copy a dark dusting in all 4 colors. The color that has the deletion probably has a bad developer unit.
